Houston has quite a lot to boast about. It is home to a respected and energetic cultural arts scene, the fourth largest shopping center in the U.S., the oldest African-American theater in the Southwest, and the brains behind American space exploration. Houston is as diverse a city as they come.

If you just like to have a relaxing morning or afternoon stroll, Houston has quite a number of green spaces and parks including The City of Houston Parks and Recreation and Harris County Parks.
There are also free theater performances, museums, and classes. You can also watch tankers and marine vessels of all sizes pull into the deep waters at the port of Houston.
These, of course, aren't the only things to do in Houston.

And if you're a sports fan, Houston offers three of the most state-of-the-art stadiums in the world-Minute Maid Park, home of the Astros; Reliant Stadium, home of the Houston Texans and the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo; and the Toyota Center arena, home to the Houston Rockets and Aeros.
